Where is Kazakhstan?
Kazakhstan is the ninth-largest country in the world, stretching from the Caspian Sea in the west to the Altai Mountains in the east, and from Russia in the north to China in the south. It is bordered by Russia to the north and west, China to the east, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest. The capital of Kazakhstan is Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana).
