When was Asia discovered?

The term "discovering" is not appropriate when referring to Asia, as it is not a singular landmass that was found or uncovered. Asia is one of the seven continents on Earth, and humans have inhabited various regions of Asia for hundreds of thousands of years. The knowledge and exploration of Asia by different cultures and civilizations throughout history occurred gradually and over extended periods of time.
