Where was Pakistan positioned in World War 2?
Pakistan was not an independent country during World War 2. It was part of British India, which declared war on Nazi Germany and its allies on 3 September 1939. British India provided substantial material support and military forces to the Allied war effort, sending millions of soldiers to fight in various campaigns across the world. However, the Pakistan movement, aiming for a separate homeland for Indian Muslims, was already gaining momentum during the war and eventually led to the creation of Pakistan as an independent state in 1947.
