The Hotel Mets Musashisakai is perhaps the most well-known hotel in the area, mostly for its convenient location; it is directly next door to the Musashi-Sekai station. The exterior is subtle and unassuming, and it has 92 rooms with layouts similar to many budget hotels in the United States. Internet access ports are available. The staff caters to English-speaking visitors. A coffee shop and convenience store (also known as a combini, where pre-made meals are usually available all day) are located nearby, and both are open late. If you call from outside the United States or Canada to make reservations, remember to replace 011 with 00.

Just a minute or two away from the Hotel Mets is the Citytel Musashisakai, a business hotel who's clientele is more native Japanese. English is not normally spoken here, so come equipped either with a translator or a good grip of the Japanese language. LAN ports are available for free internet access in most of the rooms. A Japanese-style breakfast is offered each morning in the hotel's dining area. You can choose from a single or double room, but there is little difference to the layout other than the bed. Making reservations will be difficult if you don't speak Japanese, so consider asking a translator or bilingual travel agent to help you.

The Kichijoji Dai-ichi Hotel is a little further from Musashi-Sakai than the others, but is still within a 5- to 7-minute walk. Although it's not as close, it does offer a number of amenities not available at the hotels nearer to the station. The staff speaks English fluently and a selection of newspapers are available in both English and Japanese, as is a bilingual wake-up call service. You can also order room service, or eat at one of several restaurants in the hotel that offer Western, Japanese, and Chinese cuisines. A traditional bar and a sushi bar are also available. Other amenities include a bowling alley and a barber shop, both of which you'll be hard-pressed to find in other similarly priced hotels.
