Beach Resorts in Sinandigan, Puerto Galera

Puerto Galera is a community on the northern peninsula of the Philippines, approximately 160 km from Manila. Spanish came to the area in 1572 and it became the first provincial capital on Mindoro Island. Sinandigan is located within Puerto Galera, and it is known for resorts, beaches, snorkeling and diving areas.

    • Sinandigan Lodge is in a small valley, steps away from the sea and only 1.2 km from Sabang Beach. The onsite Aqua Bar & Restaurant is steps from the beach. The resort also organizes scuba diving, hiking, snorkeling and daytrips to surrounding areas.

    • Coral Cove Resort is in small cove. This boutique hotel has four cabanas with private balconies, two family rooms that can hold five people each and 10 double rooms. The resort's restaurant is on beach and offers daily happy hours with a view of the South China Sea and the Mindoro mountains. Diving is a popular option at Coral Cove Resort, and the resort offers instruction from a PADI-certified dive instructor and use of the resort's equipment. Other activities include picnic trips, mountain biking and nature walks. Golf is available at the nearby Ponderosa Club.
