Hotels in Tarlac, Philippines

Located north of Manila on the island of Luzon, Tarlac is a major agricultural province and tourist region of the Philippines. It is famous to Americans for being the path of the Bataan Death march, when thousands of Americans and Filipinos were forced to march to POW camp in 1942. It is also partially the site of Mt. Pinatubo, which exploded in 1991, covering the Subic Bay Naval Base and forcing its abandonment by the U.S. Hotels with such amenities as air-conditioning and private baths have sprung up to accommodate visitors to these sites.
