This area southwest of Sentosa Island is a favorite with more experienced divers due to the quality of marine life in comparison to other parts of Singapore.
The reef includes a beautiful coral formation and marine life includes clown fish, barracuda, angelfish and the occasional moray eel hidden in the rocky formations of the reef.
For those who enjoy wreck diving, 50-60 meters away from the reef a cluster of wooden wrecks can be found at depths of around 20-30 meters.
This area contains many coral formations, with a large array of marine life including sharks and barracudas, and for the particularly lucky diver, dolphins. The area is a restricted military firing ground, so please check whether the military are using the area on the day you plan to dive it.
Pulau Biola has a very shallow reef which stretches about 1 kilometer. Marine life includes parrot fish, angelfish, barracuda, rainbow fish, puffer fish and moray eels. There is a great deal of seaweed on this reef and visibility is significantly reduced, but conditions are normally quite stable for diving.
This is one of the most dived sites in Singapore. Resident marine life includes turtles, barracuda, nurse sharks and sea horses as some of the principle attractions. Due to the large amount of dive traffic, some of the coral is damaged, but the conditions are good for diving and the reef is amongst the largest in Singapore.
