Who Governs Dubai?

The government of Dubai is a constitutional monarchy, with the Al Maktoum family as the ruling family. The Head of State is the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates. The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, is the Heir Apparent and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

The government of Dubai is divided into three branches:

- The Executive Council, headed by the Emir, is responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies for the emirate.

- The Legislative Council, headed by the Crown Prince, is responsible for drafting laws and regulations.

- The Judicial Council, headed by the Chief Justice, is responsible for administering justice and resolving disputes.

The government of Dubai is committed to providing its citizens with the highest standards of living and public services, and to promoting the emirate as a global business hub and tourist destination.
