How often does a mare in Australia come into season?

Your question is incorrect - mares in Australia experience estrous cycles (and thus the ability to come into season) just as they do in any other geographical area. Mares in the Southern Hemisphere usually experience a longer period of anestrous (without estrous cycles) during August and September, but cycling mares will continue to cycle regardless of location.
