Why were Asian species never able to reach Australia?

This statement is not entirely true. There are many Asian species that have successfully reached Australia. For example, the dingo, a type of wild dog, is believed to have originated in Asia and was brought to Australia by humans around 4,000 years ago. Additionally, many species of birds, insects, and plants have also made their way to Australia from Asia.
