Where is Warwick?
Warwick is a town and civil parish in the Warwick District of Warwickshire, England, approximately 18 miles (29 km) south of Coventry, 15 miles (24 km) east-south-east of Birmingham and 8 miles (13 km) north-west of Banbury. Warwick is one of the county towns of Warwickshire, although it is now smaller than the much more populous Leamington Spa. In 2020, Warwick's population was 32,144.[2]
The River Avon flows through the western part of the town, just below Warwick Castle, which dominates and is the major tourist attraction of Warwick. The castle is the most complete example of a medieval fortification in England. Warwick is also known for its historic Warwick School and St Nicholas' Church, which contains the Beauchamp Chapel.
