How many bottles of whiskey or wine can you take back to Australia?

* Adults may each bring in 2.25 litres of wine free of customs duty.

* 2.25 litres of wine = 3 x 750ml bottles of wine.

Spirits:

* You may also import the following for personal consumption:

* 1 litre of spirits; or

* 2.25 litres of wine as an alternative to the 1 litre of spirits.

So this means that you may import 3 x 750ml bottles of wine or a 1 litre bottle of spirits.
