Where Is Stirling?

Stirling is a city in central Scotland, on the River Forth, about 45 km (28 mi) northeast of Glasgow and 35 km (22 mi) northwest of Edinburgh. It is the administrative center of the Stirling council area (population ~90,000). The city is famed for Stirling Castle atop a volcanic crag, historic architecture, and annual festivals that draw tourists.
