Where is the Humboldt country located?

The Humboldt County is located in the northwestern corner of the U.S. state of California. It is bordered by Del Norte County to the north, Trinity and Siskiyou counties to the east, Mendocino County to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The county is named for the Humboldt Bay, which was named after the German naturalist Alexander von Humboldt.
