What kind of mines are there in Ontario?

There are three main types of metal ores that are mined in Ontario, with over 25 operational mines located throughout the province: Copper-nickel-PGM mines are mostly centred in the Sudbury Basin of north-central Ontario and near Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario. Gold and iron ore deposits are distributed across Northern Ontario.
