Did the Quebec Act cause American Revolution?

While the Intolerable Acts directly led to the start of the War of Independence in 1775, other British policies in North America before this time also contributed to colonial dissent and growing disaffection with home rule, eventually playing a part in causing the War of Independence

There were many causes of the American Revolution and British acts such as Proclamation line of 1763, Sugar act & Stamp Act in 1765 played role, but Quebec act of 1774 did not play any role in that.
