Does Israel have states or provinces?

Israel's administrative divisions are called districts (mehozot, singular — mehoz). As of 2019, Israel is divided into 7 administrative districts, of which 6 are located in the Israeli interior, and one (the Judea and Samaria Area District) is located in the West Bank which Israel has militariliy controlled since 1967:

- Northern

- Haifa

- Central

- Tel Aviv

- Southern

- Jerusalem

- Judea and Samaria Area District
