Day Camps in Toronto, Ontario

Children can enjoy a variety of day camp programs offered by public and private organizations throughout the city of Toronto. Camps are available for children between 2-1/2 and 17 years of age, and include options such as recreational sports camps, educational programs and theatrical performance camps.
  1. Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts

    • The Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts offers March Break and Summer Camp day programs for youth between the ages of 7 and 12 and young adults between 13 and 21 years of age. No previous performing arts experience is required for youth campers. Children have the opportunity to develop skills in dance, voice performance, drama and stage design. Participants spend each day of the camp learning about choreography, practicing dance, voice and acting techniques, and playing indoor and outdoor games for fun. At the conclusion of the camp, campers perform on stage for family and friends. For 13 to 21 year-olds, entrance into the camp program is by audition and those accepted learn from professional performing arts instructors.

    Camp Boulevard

    • Camp Boulevard is a week-long day sport camp for children and youth between 3 and 17 years of age. Programs are organized according to interest and age group and are offered on a half-day basis for children between 3 and 5, and on a full-day basis for older children. Camp program options include introductory and advanced sailing courses, badminton and tennis camps, and swimming and junior lifeguard programs. Children can also participate in a multi-sports program that encompasses activities sports and activities that include sailing, tennis, volleyball and soccer. In addition to an intensive focus on each camp`s program, participants also enjoy a range of other leisure activities and games throughout each day.

    Crestwood Valley Day Camp

    • The Crestwood Valley Day Camp offers a multitude of indoor and outdoor activities for children between 2-1/2 and 11-1/2 years of age, and a counselor-in-training program for teenagers completing ninth grade. Both half- and full-day programs are available and the training program for teens is a full-day program that is four weeks long. Children can participate in a multitude of activities, including pottery and jewelry making, drama, directing and dance classes, computer activities, nature studies and a low ropes challenge course. Older participants can also take part in baseball and basketball training camps and a three-day overnight trip to Camp White Pine.

    Mad Science

    • Mad Science offers a variety of summer camp programs for preschool and school-age children. Camps include the Science Sleuths Camp, where children learn about astronomy, the science behind environmental protection and how to communicate using numbers. At the Machine Maniacs Camp, children build bridges, learn how cameras work and work in a child-friendly outdoor chemistry lab. The Secret Agent Lab Camp teaches children about forensic science and children get to build their very own rocket at Rocket Camp. Camps are for children between 4 and 12 years of age and both half- and full-day programs are available.
