While there are traditional museums like the Royal Ontario Museum and unique museums like the Beta Shoe Collection, the Ontario Science Centre will appeal to children the most. There are hundreds of exhibits including a wall of bubbles, a simulated rain forest and an electrical ball, plus a series of rotating exhibits. The space also holds an Omnimax movie theater and the Kidspark, a learning and play area for kids under the age of 8.
