Children's Activities in Ireland

Ireland's children have a choice of outdoor and indoor activities, which are fun and sometimes educational, too. Every interest is catered for, including nature, sports, the arts and science. There are plenty of activities to join in for visitors to Ireland, whether they are enjoying a rural or town-based vacation.
  1. Glendalough Equestrian and Adventure Centre

    • The Glendalough Equestrian and Adventure Centre is situated on a beautiful estate with woodland and has been used as a movie location. Adults and children can book riding lessons with qualified instructors, individually or as part of a group. Instructors lead treks for riders of any ability. Children age 4 to 17 years can participate in nonresidential pony camps. The center also runs mountain bike treks and features activity camps and days that include pony trekking, mountain biking, orienteering, hill walking and target shooting.
