Aldea Luna, translated as Moon Village, is a nature preserve set in the northwest corner of Argentina. More than 900 hectares of the Aldea Luna nature preserve are protected from logging and cattle activities that damage the forest's natural beauty. The preserve is run by a family with the help of ecotourists and volunteers. Activities include working on the organic farm to provide healthy vegetarian meals, clearing nature trails that snake through the lush landscape of the preserve and enjoying the horses and other animals that mill about the farm. Accommodations include solar powered cabins as well as three healthy meals a day.
