Benny's Bistro
- With seasonal menus that utilize only fresh ingredients, Benny's Bistro was referred to by food writer Aaron Shaw as one of "Ottawa's best kept secrets." Benny's serves breakfast on weekdays and a slightly later brunch on weekends. In addition to breakfast and brunch, Benny's also serves lunch. Taking its cues from classic French cooking, sample breakfast items at Benny's include a goat cheese frittata with chipotle crème fraîche, French toast with fruit and eggs with toast, bacon and hash. Sample brunch items include brie stuffed French toast with a roasted rhubarb and salmon gravlax (similar to lox) with warm lemon, caper and fingerling potato salad, olive tapenade and an egg.
