RV Parks in Williams Lake, British Columbia

Williams Lake, British Columbia is home to one of the largest professional rodeos in the Western hemisphere called Williams Lake Stampede. Every year, thousands flock to Williams Lake to take part in this event or just to watch. Williams Lake and the surrounding areas also offer a wealth of outdoor activities such as biking, canoeing and hiking.   1. Chief Will-Yum Campsite

    • The Chief Will-Yum Campsite resides five miles from the heart of Williams Lake, British Columbia. Chief Will-Yum Campsite offers five pull-throughs and a total of 32 sites for recreational vehicles (maximum length 70 feet). The campsite supports power hookups for 15, 30 and 50 amps. Amenities at Chief Will-Yum Campsite include a convenience store, on-site laundry facility, restrooms, a recreational field and fire pits. The Chief Will-Yum Campsite is pet-friendly, however, pets must be leashed while outside.

    Wildwood RV Park & Campsite

    • Wildwood RV Park & Campsite is right next to the area where the Williams Lake Stampede takes place. There are six pull-throughs at this camp and a total of 24 sites for recreational vehicles (maximum length 50 feet). The park supports power hookups for 15, 30 and 50 amps. Amenities at Wildwood RV Park & Campsite include full hookups for RVs, available TV and Internet service, a laundry facility, showers and restrooms. Pets are allowed at Wildwood RV Park & Campsite, but they must be on a leash while outside.

    Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park

    • Near the Atnarko River lies Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park. Tweedsmuir South has 36 mostly shaded sites for recreational vehicles (maximum length 40 feet). Tweedsmuir South is a more traditional camping area with basic amenities such as pit or flush toilets, picnic areas and a boat launch. Outdoor enthusiasts can take part in recreational activities such as canoeing, cycling, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting and swimming. Pets are allowed in Tweedsmuir South but must be leashed while outside. It should be noted that some areas of the park are closed due to 2009 wildfires.
