Willow Grove Park is located right off of Lake Lewisville and is a popular spot for nature-watching, fishing and camping. Leased by the city of Lake Dallas, Willow Grove offers a baseball field, picnic tables, benches, a playground, trails, a fishing pier and an RV dump station. Willow Grove is a small park, with 15 RV sites, all with 20-, 30- and 50-amp electricity and water hook-ups and unlimited primitive camping spots. Campers can stay up to 14 nights per 30-day period. Pets are welcome, and campfires are allowed on the official “Burn Days” set by Denton County. The park features a boat ramp and fishing with a proper Texas state fishing license.

Sandy Lake RV Resort is located in Carrollton, just down I-35 from Lake Lewisville and Lake Dallas. The park features wireless Internet access, a clubhouse and a swimming pool.
