The LaSalle Strawberry Festival in Ontario

LaSalle, a town in Ontario, Canada's Essex County, is located less than 10 miles from the U.S. border near Detroit, Michigan. LaSalle's history dates to the middle of the 18th century when French settlers began inhabiting the area. A large portion of LaSalle’s land is used for farming various crops, including berries. In early June, the town comes to life with live music, local artwork and roughly 2 tons of local strawberries during its annual LaSalle Strawberry Festival.
