RV Parks Near St. John, New Brunswick

Saint John is the largest city in the province of New Brunswick in Canada, and also the oldest (1795) incorporated city in all of Canada. It is in south New Brunswick, along the north shore of the Bay of Fundy, at the mouth of the Saint John River. Its attractions include the Reversing Falls Rapids, the New Brunswick Museum, the Carletton Martello Tower National Historic Site, and the Canada Games Aquatic Center. Rockwood Park is the best-known RV park in Saint John, with a number of others being nearby and accessible to its attractions.

    • This Saint John RV park, five minutes to the city center, has 180 pull-through sites with big rig access and a lot of trees for shade. It has electric, water sewers, wireless Internet access, but no cable TV and telephone. The roads to and within the park are easy to navigate, and one to two nights' stay allows time to experience the amenities of the surrounding city park. These include hot showers, fireplaces, comfort stations and picnic tables. Rockwood Park has an 18-hole golf course, a zoo and miles of nature trails for jogging, strolling and hiking.

    Crystal Beach Resort

    • Established in 1955, this small park has 30 pull-through sites with electric, water and sewers. It is on the Saint John River, less than 20 miles from the city of Saint John. Waterfront access to the river is available, with a sandy beach open to the public. Trees provide plenty of shade for campers, trailers and tents. An on-site canteen sells fast food, and there is also the Wharfinger Pub, a playground, swimming, beach volleyball, horseshoes and shower facilities. Pets are allowed in this family-friendly park, but Internet access and cable TV are not available.

    Hardings Point Campground

    • Owned by Diane and Howard Heans, this park is at the tip of the Keystone peninsula on the Saint John River, about 25 minutes from the city of Saint John. A free five-minute ferry ride gets even the largest RV to this park, with vehicle in tow. Attractions include bird watching, nature trails, deep water boating, bass fishing and a heated pool that is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Less than 30 minutes away are seafood restaurants, the Reversing Falls Rapids of Saint John, Westfold Golf Course, Saint John City Market, Market Spruce Museum and Loyalist House.
