Twin Warriors Golf Club, Sandia Peak Tramway and historic Old Town Albuquerque are some of the local attractions found near the park. The Empty Saddle RV Park is situated about 1 1/2 miles from exit 355, about 30 miles from New Mexico's western border with Texas. The Mesalands Dinosaur Museum, Tucumcari Mountain and historic main street in Tucumcari are some of the area's attractions close to Empty Saddle.
