In 1609 did the Dutch pirates steal spanish gold?

The Dutch did not steal Spanish gold in 1609. However, in 1598, a Dutch pirate named Piet Heyn led an attack on the Spanish treasure fleet and captured a Spanish galleon carrying a large amount of gold and silver.
