CamelBeach Mountain Waterpark is located at the base of the Camelback Mountain ski slopes. The park has more than a dozen water attractions. They include an Olympic-sized pool and a large wave pool; a FlowRider surfing simulator; the Blue Nile Adventure River; and a number of tube and mat slides. The Phararoh's Phortress is an elaborate water playground where young children can wade, splash, spray and climb to their hearts' content.
The park has a number of dry attractions, too. At Gemstone Panning, visitors purchase bags of mining rough and then pan through it to look for gems, fossils and arrowheads. CBK Turf is an off-season skiing and snowboarding environment. In addition, CamelBeach has a large game room with video games and other coin-operated machines. Finally, the ski area chair lift is open all summer to whisk visitors up and down the mountain. At the top there's a restaurant and a state park, both of which offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
Scattered throughout the park are food concessions offering everything from hot dogs and nachos to honey-glazed nuts. The lodge has a fairly extensive menu that includes sandwiches and salads. The best food is found outside on the deck, where burgers, half chickens, ribs and other goodies are grilled fresh. The deck also has full-service tiki bar.
CamelBeach/Camelback has no hotel of its own as of yet, but accommodations can be found nearby.

H20ooohh Indoor Family Waterpark is located in the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA. It boasts the state's first indoor FlowRide surfing simulator in addition to more than a half-dozen other attractions that include four-story-high slides, a wave pool that generates waves up to 6 feet tall, hot tubs and children play areas. The park is open to the public. Tickets are not discounted for hotel guests; however, Split Rock offers a variety of package deals for discounted stays that include waterpark tickets.
The resort has a number of restaurants and bars open to waterpark visitors, including the adjacent Galleria Pizzeria and Galleria Restaurant.
The resort is enormous. Families who take advantage of a stay and splash package will find enough activities and amenities to keep everyone busy for days, if not weeks. Split Rock boasts a movie theater, bowling alley, arcade and sports complex. There's boating and other recreation on the lake during the summer, and skiing in winter. Plus bicycling, miniature golf and all manner of planned activities. Parents can even send their kids to "camp" while they enjoy a massage or a Segway tour of the resort.

Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun, PA is an all-suite family hotel with a waterpark that's reserved exclusively for the use of Lodge guests. The park has about a dozen water features, including play areas for children, adult whirlpool tubs, and a four-story-high, interactive tree house. There's even an eight-story-high slide that plunges riders into a vortex funnel where they swirl toward the bottom and drop into a second vortex before finally plunging into the pool below.
The dry activities are almost as much a draw for guests. Kids can build and race their own radio-controlled cars in the Race Zone. The gr8_Space Tech Center has Internet access, media-player docks and XBox, Playstation and Nintendo videogame systems. A fitness room and arcade round out the resort's amenities.
Suites are lodge-themed. They range in size from efficiency-type units that sleep four, to two-bedroom suites with full kitchens that sleep a crowd. Some accommodations have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. There's even one that has an en-suite cabin for kids.
