Walt Disney World offers two waterparks in Florida, which include Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Typhoon Lagoon offers a children's water area with small rafts and waterslides. Visitors also have an opportunity to enjoy the 6-foot surf pool or snorkel with tropical fish, bonnethead sharks and tropical fish in the coral reef. All equipment is provided at no charge, but children under the age of 10 need a parent or guardian to accompany them. The waterpark consists of nine slides, some with almost complete vertical drops. It also offers restaurants, an outdoor bar and two picnic areas.
Blizzard Beach has a snow-castle fountain, free-falling slides and even the world's largest water slide. Based on the attendance report in 2007, attendance for the two parks was approximated at 4 million.
