Resorts With Waterparks

Waterparks are popular in North America, with more than 1,000 of them hosting 78 million visitors in 2006, according to the World Waterpark Association. Many resorts around the country have added an on-site waterpark to their list of amenities to help elevate them from a lodging place to a family vacation destination.

    • The Arizona Grand Resort offers luxury accommodations along with an on-site outdoor waterpark that provides fun for the entire family.     Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center

    • Located on the banks of Lake Michigan, Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center offers a fun family getaway with packages and pricing to fit a variety of budgets. The resort features Breaker Bay, a 54,000 square-foot indoor waterpark with activities for all ages. The S.S. Minnow zero-entry children's pool offers 15 geysers and interactive spray features appropriate for toddlers.     Six Flags Great Escape Lodge

    • The Six Flags Great Escape Lodge is located just minutes from downtown Lake George in New York's Adirondacks. Their 38,000 square-foot indoor waterpark, White Water Bay, is home to a host of interactive water activities to keep both big and little kids entertained. Ride the waterslides in the Tall Timbers Treehouse, Glacier Run and Snow Shoe Falls, float down the Tak-it-eesi-Creek tubing river, dive from the cliffs at Lott-a-watta-Bay, or enjoy a rafting ride with the family on the Avalanche.
