Recreational features at this resort that is ideal for families include a swimming pool, a lake for fishing, outdoor pavilion, game room, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. • The Drummer Boy Camping Resort is located in south-central Pennsylvania near the Maryland state line in the historic Civil War battlefield town of Gettysburg. Situated a few minutes from the Gettysburg Battlefield National Park, the resort has more than 400 RV sites on 95 wooded acres that you can rent on a short-term or seasonal basis. The resort also rents cabins and cottages and has a store that sells groceries, gifts, souvenirs and RV supplies. The store also has a snack bar with hot and cold items. • Pine Lane Campground, in the northwestern area of the state, has 100 RV sites that you can rent on a seasonal basis. Located next to Lake Erie and Erie Bluffs State Park, which opened in 2006, Pine Lane Campground is a hot spot for anglers. Numerous streams are in the area, along with Lake Erie, and the campground has an on-site fishing pond. Seasonal campers can choose to pay an additional fee for a refrigerator, freezer or air-conditioning. Pine Lane has a store where campers can purchase ice, propane and RV supplies. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, restrooms, showers, laundry facility, dump station, basketball court, fish-cleaning station and arcade.
