Celebrity Resorts is a timeshare company with locations throughout the United States. Its company-owned resorts are located in Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada and New Jersey. Celebrity Resorts is an affiliate of Resort Condominiums International, which is a point exchange service provider for real estate owners. Celebrity Resort members may use their timeshare points at any resort location affiliated with RCI. There are 22 resorts in Pennsylvania where Celebrity Resort members may exchange their points for a vacation stay. Most are located in the Poconos Mountain area, with a few in central Pennsylvania and one in Philadelphia.
There are 17 properties in the Poconos Mountain area where Celebrity Resort members may stay. They are all condominium units with full kitchens and living areas, but vary in number of bedrooms, bathrooms, overall square footage and resort amenities. Depending on member level, some units may include additional costs.
Celebrity Resort members may use their timeshare points for a vacation in or near DuBois, East Stroudsburg or Hershey, Pennsylvania, all of which are located centrally throughout the state. Vacation types and amenities vary among resorts, with Hershey’s being home to a casino and DuBois and East Stroudsburg resorts being near lakes.
Timeshare members can exchange their points for a stay at the Hyatt at the Bellevue hotel in downtown Philadelphia. Rooms sleep two, and hotel amenities include a 93,000-square-foot fitness center with squash, racquetball, sauna, spa and exercise equipment on site. There are golf courses, restaurants and shopping nearby at additional cost.
There are different levels of Celebrity Resort membership. They include blue, red and white, with blue being the most expensive and white the least expensive. If a white Celebrity Resort timeshare member wishes to stay during a blue or red season at certain resorts, there are additional costs. Just as accommodations and amenities vary by resort, so do the costs for membership levels.
