Wet 'n' Wild in North Shield's is the UK's largest water park. It's located one mile from the north side entrance of the Tyne Tunnel on the A187. Splashdown in Poole is an all-year park. Eight rides operate through the winter including the Spacebowl and Red River Roller. The more popular water rides open in the summer, such as the Mississippi Drifter, the Tennessee Twister and the Louisiana Leap. For the little ones, the shallow-water Buccaneer Zone is open during peak season. Splashdown is available for private hire, so call in advance to make sure all your favorite rides are open to the public.
