Nightclubs in Leeds, United Kingdom

The third-largest city in the U.K., Leeds offers a vibrant nightlife. As a young city with a large student population, Leeds has many night clubs playing a wide range of music. Whether you're into top-40 pop, house, goth music, techno, rock, or R'n'B, there's a nightclub in Leeds to suit your tastes.
  1. The Cockpit

    • The Cockpit has been a popular student night spot since 1994. The venue was once a pub called The Cock of the North. Built under a series of arches, the club has an intimate, if slightly dingy, feel. The Cockpit hosts a different night each day of the week. Tuesdays are emo nights. Fridays are electro and retro indie. The club is also a popular live music venue. The Libertines, The White Stripes, Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, The Killers, and The Hives have all played there.
