Nightclubs in Dubai, UAE

In the past 20 years, thanks to its booming tourism industry, Dubai has created a nightlife scene that is as hot as the surrounding desert climate. Party-going jet-setters from around the world make the United Arab Emirates capital city a must-visit destination, which is why nearly all the busiest nightclubs in Dubai are part of ultra-modern hotel complexes. These venues range from relaxing lounges to clubs with heavy, live music.
  1. Chill

    • Located in the Bur area of Dubai, Chill is a self-described "rooftop oasis" on the summit of the Royal Ascot Hotel. The setting fits the name. Soft mood lighting along with the city lights illuminate the dozens of couches and tables on the hotel roof. In keeping with the desert setting, tall plants surround the balcony, along with a sunset pink decor. The outdoor nightclub is a spot where young sophisticates, whether in large groups looking to party or couples on a date, can socialize over cocktails and enjoy an excellent view of the city.

    Club Mint

    • Housed in the Manhattan Hotel in Dubai, Club Mint is one of the more low-key nightclubs in a city that thrives on decadence. Perhaps taking a cue from the hotel's New York name, Club Mint is more like a Big Apple bar with its darkly lit setting and downstairs, tucked-away location. The club does keep up with the ultra-modern style of the city, however, with sparkly bubble chairs and a sleek bar. While there's always music playing, mostly R&B, Club Mint, is the kind of nightclub for meeting up with small groups of friends as opposed to the epic dance parties that inhabit the rest of the desert capital.

    The 400 Club

    • Like most of current Dubai, the 400 Club does not lack in flashy and decadent design, however, while the rest of the town covers itself in ultra-modern plastic and neon fixtures, this exclusive club evokes a classical, Rococo vibe. The velvet walls and ornate lighting fixtures are just a few of the lavish decorations at the 400 club and while the patrons will most likely be wearing ascots and lace garders, a sophisticated and smart attire is expected. Like many of the nightclubs in Dubai, R&B is one of the main genres erupting from the speakers at the 400 club, but one can also hear plenty of Arabic electronic music as well.

    Music Room

    • The music room, part of the Majestic Hotel Tower in Dubai, is one of the few live music venues in a town that is saturated in house, R&B and other various electronic music spun by DJs. At the music room, one can stop by to see loud and energetic rock music along with pools tables and a genuine heavy metal atmosphere. The music room is still similar to the rest of Dubai in that "how you look is who you are," featuring a rock crowd dressed in black with anything from spiked bracelets to torn fish-net stockings with various tattoos and piercings.
