What is the population of Vanuatu?

According to the 2020 revision of the World Population Prospects, the total population of Vanuatu was estimated to be 319,000 in 2023. This figure represents a significant increase compared to the previous estimate of 277,500 in 2019, with an average annual growth rate of approximately 2.3% between 2019 and 2023.

It's important to note that population estimates can vary depending on the source and methodology used. The United Nations Population Division (UNDESA) is considered a reputable source for global population data and their estimates are widely used. However, different countries and organizations may use slightly different methods to collect and analyze population data, which can lead to variations in the reported figures.

For the most up-to-date and precise information on Vanuatu's population, it is recommended to refer to official sources such as the Vanuatu National Statistics Office or the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Vanuatu.
