Where is vanuatu island located?

Vanuatu is a small Pacific Ocean nation located about 1,750 kilometers (1,087 miles) east of northern Australia, 540 kilometers (336 miles) northeast of New Caledonia, 800 kilometers (497 miles) west of Fiji, and 2,000 kilometers (1,243 miles) west of Samoa.

The Republic of Vanuatu is an archipelago consisting of 83 islands, of which 65 are inhabited. The islands stretch over a distance of about 1,300 kilometers (808 miles) from the island of Torres in the north to the island of Aneityum in the south.
