For those in a hurry, Tours Cozumel offers to fly you from the airport on Cozumel to Chichen Itza. The tour lasts only five hours, instead of the 14 hours it takes by bus. The tour price includes the round-trip flight, transportation to the ruins, guides and entrance fee. The airport taxes are in addition to the price of $245.

The trip departs from the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal in an air-conditioned bus, and passes through the colonial city of Valladolid. Breakfast is served on the bus, where drinks are available. The guide will show the ruins on arrival in Chichen Itza.
