Is Bermuda its own Independent country?

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory. This means that it is a self-governing territory under the sovereignty of the British Crown. Bermuda has its own government and parliament, but the British government retains responsibility for foreign affairs and defence. Bermudians are British citizens and have the right to live and work in the UK.
