Where to Find the Coat of Arms of Trinidad and Tobago
The national coat of arms appears officially in three key places:
- National Flag: Centered on the white diagonal stripe (though the flag more commonly displays the coat of arms on state/official versions; the civil flag omits it).
- National Seal: Embossed on all formal government documents, treaties, commissions, and presidential instruments.
- Official Government Letterhead: Used on correspondence from the President, Prime Minister, Ministers, Parliament, and all ministries/agencies.
It also appears on passports, currency (coins), military/police insignia, and public buildings—but the three above are its primary constitutional placements.
