The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has determined the Dominican Republic has a high level of COVID-19. Because the current situation in the Dominican Republic is less serious, the State Department has lifted the Dominican Republic’s Level 4 Travel Advisory.

Visitors to the Dominican Republic may experience border closures, airport closures, travel prohibitions, stay-at-home orders, business closures, and other emergency conditions within Dominican territory with little notice._
