Are there trenches in the Himalayas?

There are no deep trenches in the Himalayas; they are located far into the ocean where two subducting oceanic plates collide with a continental one, thus, the Himalayan range was created by the collision of the Indo-Australian and Eurasian plates that are still colliding, leading to significant geological changes due to crust thickening.
