What are the rural areas in Texas that hit tornado?

On March 21, 2022, several tornadoes touched down in rural areas across multiple counties in Texas, mainly between the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex (DFW area) and Waco. Here are some of the affected rural areas:

- Grandview

Hill County:

- Hillsboro

- Itasca (minor damage reported)

McLennan County:

- Crawford

Navarro County:

- Corsicana (minor damage reported)

Grayson County:

- Van Alstyne

- Pottsboro

- Whitesboro

These are some of the more rural areas that sustained damage, along with their surrounding communities and less populated, outlying regions. Some urbanized towns were also impacted along the tornado paths within these counties.
