Caribbean

Cuba is located in the northern Caribbean Sea, south of the Bahamas, and northwest of Hispaniola. It is the largest island in the Caribbean and has a total area of 109,884 km2 (42,426 sq mi).

Latin America

Cuba is part of the Latin America region, which is composed of countries in the Americas that have Spanish or Portuguese as their official language. Latin America is also known as Ibero-America or the Spanish Americas.

North America

Cuba is sometimes considered part of North America because of its proximity to the United States. However, Cuba is not part of the North American continent, which is made up of Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
