Each state's quarter was issued over a period of approximately two weeks. The new quarter would enter circulation in the state it represented, followed by the next state in alphabetical order. Once the program was completed, all 50 state quarters were available in circulation.
However, due to the sheer volume of quarters produced and the natural attrition that occurs over time, not all of the state quarters are still commonly found in circulation today. Some state quarters, particularly those from the earlier years of the program, may be more difficult to come by.
If you are interested in collecting all 50 state quarters, you can purchase complete sets or individual quarters from coin dealers, online retailers, or even banks. Additionally, you can sometimes find state quarters in rolls of coins obtained from banks or credit unions.
