What countries own the Arctic Circle?
No one country owns the Arctic Circle. It is a line of latitude which marks the northernmost point of the Earth at which the sun can be seen at the top of the sky at least once during the year. It's location varies throughout the year as the Earth's axis is tilted relative to the sun, reaching its northernmost point at the June solstice and its southernmost point at the December solstice.
While several countries have territories which reach into the Arctic Circle, including Norway, Russia, Canada, Greenland, Alaska (United States), and possibly Finland and Sweden, no single country has exclusive control over the Arctic Circle itself.
