How did Jordan annexation of the west bank and Jerusalem after war 1948 affect that country?

Jordan did not annex the West Bank and East Jerusalem after the 1948 war. Those territories were conquered by Jordan during the war, but Jordan never officially annexed them. Instead, Jordan administered the West Bank and East Jerusalem from 1949 until 1967, when they were occupied by Israel in the Six-Day War.
