What is the exact location of Khyber Pass?

The Khyber Pass is a mountain pass located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is found between the cities of Peshawar and Landi Kotal, near the border with Afghanistan. The pass is roughly 53 kilometers long and links the fertile Peshawar Basin with the arid steppes of Afghanistan. The terrain of the Khyber Pass is a mix of narrow gorges and rugged mountains with steep cliffs. The highest point of the pass is around 1,075 meters above sea level.
