Siberia is larger than the contiguous United States. Siberia has a total area of about 13,100,000 square kilometres (5,100,000 square miles), which is about 77% of the total area of Russia. The contiguous United States has a total area of about 9,830,000 square kilometres (3,800,000 square miles). Siberia is therefore about 33% larger than the contiguous United States.
